YMCA Robin Hood Group proudly welcomed Nadia Whittome MP to our Shakespeare Street resident this week to learn more about the services provided to residents and the ongoing work involved in maintaining the historic building.
During the visit, Nadia met with our staff and heard about the person-centred support offered to residents, helping individuals move towards greater stability and independence.
The visit also provided an opportunity to discuss the challenges of managing and maintaining older listed buildings in city centre locations and the work undertaken to ensure residents continue to receive safe and supportive accommodation.
