As both Eid al-Fitr and Easter approach, we at the YMCA Robin Hood Group are reaching out to our local community and businesses to help make this time of year a little brighter for the young people and adults who live with us.
Many of the people we support have faced significant challenges, and small gestures can mean a great deal. Something as simple as receiving a sweet treat or an Easter egg can help someone feel valued, included, and part of the celebrations taking place around them.
This year, we’re hoping to collect donations of Easter eggs and chocolate treats to share with our residents, helping ensure that everyone has the chance to enjoy a small moment of joy this spring.
How You Can Help
We are welcoming donations of:
- Easter eggs
- Chocolate treats (including treats suitable for Eid celebrations)
- Spring treats such as hot cross buns
